Brief Bobrick History

Bobrick was founded in 1906 by George Augustus Bobrick having the company name of Bobrick Chemical Company. At that time, they were manufactures of a variety of chemical products such as waxes, ammonia, etc. Early patents in 1908 and 1912 for the liquid soap dispensers designed by G.A. Bobrick. Having sold the chemical business in 1938, Bobrick engineered and developed a wide variety of soap dispensers becoming the leader in its field. 1961 was the year Bobrick introduced their unique line of recessed stainless steel multi-purpose units. This gave commercial restrooms a new clean and space saving look and dramatically reduced bathroom installation times. Since then Bobrick has developed a wide variety of toilet and washroom accessories, reducing the overall costs for maintenance and construction.

Today, Bobrick sells designer lines of toilet accessories, toilet partitions and other washroom accessories such as baby changing tables and hand driers. Sales are world wide and directed from their headquarters located in North Hollywood, California.
